2009 Best & Fairest 'World' Category

2009 was a huge year for the Quebec Saints winning the Mike Pyke Cup for the first time. The votes for the Best & Fairest were compiled from 13 matches, 7 ECAFL games, 5 OAFL Division 2 games and 1 Exhibition match. All players put in a terrific effort and some made outstanding contributions on-field. For 2009 the voting system for the Best and fairest was split into two categories, Australian and Canadian/World, The voting was done each game by 5 people, each person giving votes in a 5-4-3-2-1 format for both categories.
